Huge Waves on Maui | Maui, Hawaii Lifestyle Photographer

When we were heading up to Haiku for our photo shoot last Saturday, we drove by Ho’okipa – one of the world’s most renowned windsurfing spots.  We saw these incredible waves and decided to stop for 10 minutes to take some photos.  Normally we see tons of windsurfers there, but that day the waves were like 40 to 50 feet high.  There were more people watching the waves than anything!  It was beautiful and these photos don’t even do it justice!  The waves are still HUGE these few days!  Maybe I should stop by again before the Hawaii PUG Holiday Party tonight!
